Supplementary equipments
The sleeve stations can be fitted in standard with handling or automatic functioning accessories which facilitate:

- the loading and unloading of the parts,
- the setting of the parts in motion,
- the setting of the nozzles in motion.

Some doors with an automatic opening (picture 1) make it possible to handle some parts on a movable truck (picture 3) from a side table (picture 2) which allows the blowing or the rinsing in order to remove possible sediments. The truck can be fitted with a revolving table, a vireur, or a removable rotary barrel. These accessories can also be fixed directly in the station, or on the caisson walls.
Except the parts, it is possible to set the guns or the projection nozzles in motion in order to obtain a steadiness and a perfect repetition of the operations (see heading machines).
The automated stations are similar to real small automatic machines.

Special stations
In some specific cases, the so-called "sleeves" stations are fitted with one sleeve only or any sleeve. It is the case for the cleaning of the parts vertically suspended for which the operator handles a projection hose through a unique opening (Picture 4) or for the treatment of small parts on revolving tables with alternated loading or unloading, (picture 5) for which the jet spreading can be totally automated and thus eliminating the external access for the operator.
Any mechanical handling solutions can be envisaged such as station with a back tip-up loader or other.
